Most people, religious or not, are not well studied in logic. Or reason for that matter.

Most of them talked about thinks like there being no quantitative proof . So isn't it at least possible that the Earth existed on some level But then there's the 'vocal' atheists on sites like that. Also, atheists can become almost addicted to logic.. like the links to the “proof” that god doesn't exist.

My best friends and most of my family are atheists. I love them dearly and think they are awesome people.
But the 'atheists' on this board...
Hardly worth reading 95% of their posts.
Nice way to lump everyone together on the basis of one question. Funny, I thought that was a logical fallicy as well.
I think that it is more important to remember that not education but the application of that education, makes the intellegence of a person great or small.
Isn't that the case with most people, regardless of their religion? The loudest ones are the ones that have the least to say.
It seems to me that with both Atheists and Theists, the most illogical arguments sound better to their authors if mixed with insults.
One sure sign is if they answer their own questions in their posts.
i dont believe in "spiritual" things either, BUT, no two people have exactly the same perspective, beliefs, worldview, etc
it would be more constructive to notice your similarities, rather than your differences.
the religious folk are the people famous for scisms. i like to stay above that fray :-)
